Ants, Wasps & Bees 2019-01-22T17:45:18+00:00

This group of insects (Hymenoptera) are incredibly intrusive with some species such as the common wasp (Vespula Vulgaris) having the ability to sting. More often than not these stings will prove to be painful at worst with some swelling which subsides after a few hours. However some people can suffer anaphylactic shock which if not treated can be fatal. For these insects we offer a quick reactive service making your homes and gardens safe again. Once identified, we can treat and or remove wasp nests quite easily using specialist equipment and insecticides.  Ants we can treat indoors and outdoors with insecticides which will destroy a colony very quickly.

Lyons Environmental Services love Bees. This means we will do all we can to promote and preserve the local bee population. So much so that if we encounter a swarm we will endeavour to have the bees relocated via a local beekeeper.  How we do this is by contacting the bee keepers association to get the contact details of beekeepers in the area. We also have our own direct contacts within the bee keeping community. Only trained personnel should deal with treating of wasps and bees as they are easily confused. For more advice please contactessay topics us via the details on our contact page.
